What Makes MadMount Products Second to None.

We are sailors. On the water. On the ice. On the playa. We’ll race anything with a soft or hard sail. And we race other stuff, too. Yeah, we’re competitive. We like to win, whether we’re helming a boat or designing products.

We are 3-D design and production experts. Our technical team is comprised of mechanical engineers and a naval architect. We understand the rigorous demands of competitive sailing environments—low weight, high strength, long-term durability, UV resistance, water impermeability, sodium resistance, etc.

We don't accept "good enough."  One-size-fits-all really means one size that sort of fits.  That's lame! Our mounts are boat-specific, so each fits perfectly.  Our cases were designed in partnership with Vakaros using their original CAD files, so our tolerances are exacting.  

We use superior materials. We use only premium grade filaments stored in temperature controlled environments and transferred directly to our printers. There are lower cost materials and production methods, but to us they are not worth the performance, durability, consistency and aesthetic tradeoffs.

We print on professional-grade machines. OK, we’re kind of nerds. We actually think our lady friends think our pricy, superfast, high quality printers are cool. Each is housed in a completely closed environment to ensure dimensional accuracy, eliminate foreign matter and prevent warping.  It's true, we rarely had dates in high school.

We are fussy. We design and test all products ourselves. We test everything to the failure point. Before the MadMounts brand goes on anything, we know it’s exceptional. (Dude. We don’t recommend repeating our tests yourselves. Really, don’t toss your cased Atlas in the air and watch it bounce on a cement floor. Or drop a piston onto your screen-protected computer face.  Remember…we’re professionals!) 😊

We like pretty things. No, it won’t help you win races, but why not look good trying?!
